Let's make every billfish count!!

From November 1st till December 31st every boat in Puerto Rico will have the opportunity to compete in the 1st Web Billfish Challenge. Every boat that wants to participate must register in http://www.fishcaribe.com/billfish-challenge. Every billfish that you release in that period will add a score to the dashboard and the boat with most point at the end of December will be the champion. I hope you all participate and have fun. To Submit report just press the Submit button under the billfish challenge tab and fill the blanks!!!  



Event Rules

1) Every boat must be register in the tournament before submitting any report.

2) Boats can register any time during the tournament period.

3) The only species that count are billfish.

4) This is honor system so we will assume that the information is accurate, but if you have pictures is better.

5) Any line can be used.

6) Points on their land/releases will evaluate boats.
    - Blue Marlin – 300pts (One point per pound for every blue marlin officially weighed and verified in excess of 300 pounds)
    - Swordfish – One point per pound for every sword officially weighed.
    - White Marlin, Spearfish – 150 pts.
    - Sailfish – 100 pts.
